Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Kerung (140km,2,900m, 8 hours)
Early in the Morning scenic drive to Kerung Border Nepal Tibet Border through the beautiful Nepalese countryside and after necessary border formalities at Nepali immigration and cross the bridge process for all necessary formalities in Chinese immigration continue drive to Kerung Town. Stay Overnight at Guest House.
Day 2: Drive to Tingri (225 km, 4,300m, 6 hours)
After Breakfast drive uphill to the height plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing of the roof of the world from where weather permitting, breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m) and Mt.Xishapangma (8,012m) but dwarfed by the vastness of the Tibetan plateau. From Tingri one can enjoy the magnificence of Mt. Everest (8,848m) Stay Overnight at Guest House.
Day 3: Drive to Shigatse (244km,3,900m, 6 hours)
After Breakfast continue drive scenic crossing over Gyachu La (5,220m),the highest pass en route to Lhasa via Lhatse from where a road to Mt.Kailash goes to the west. Stay overnight at Hotel.
Day 4: Drive to Gyantse(90km, 3,950m, 2 hours)
After Breakfast Morning Sightseeing to the Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery. Drive to Gyantse and visit Kumbum Stupa and Phalkhor Monastery. Stay Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5: Drive to Lhasa via Yamdrok Lake (262 km, 3,650m, 6 hours)
After Breakfast full day picturesque drive crossing over Karo La (5,010m),Kambala (4,749m), Colorful Yamdrok- Tso Lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahma Putra (Yarlung Tsangpo). Stay Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6: Lhasa City Tour
Breakfast and Visit major historical places in Lhasa like Potala Palace - The palace of Dalai Lama, Jokhnag temple and walk around old city of Lhasa Barkhor Bazzar. back to hotel and overnight.
Day 7: Lhasa City Tour
After breakfast in Hotel, drive to visit Sera Monastery, university of Tibetan Buddhist and it is house of over 3000 monks. You can explore activities of monks around. Another visit is Drepung monastery, is one of the "great three" Gelug university gompas of Tibet. The other two are Ganden Monastery and Sera Monastery. Back to hotel and free time
Day 8: Lhasa Airport
Your tour ends today. After Breakfast drive to Gonggar Airport or Train Station for your departure flight to Kathmandu or to your onward destination
